Hi everyone,

First and foremost, I want to  thank you all for the downloads, feedback, criticism, and for those of you who played my game and even shared it on YouTube. This experience has honestly been surreal and is insanely motivating for me to create something bigger, and more in-depth. This is my first release ever and I did not know what to expect from it, but I am extremely proud and grateful for the reaction it has gotten. In this post I really want to reflect on what I liked about this project what I disliked and what are the plans for the future.

What I liked?

My goal for this project was to simply create a game, release it and understand what this process entails and hopefully scare someone along the way. I feel like I have greatly achieved this and more. I am also very happy about the vibe and the slow build of tension I have created, as well as the Car scare.

What I disliked?

The ending is a lot to be desired and feels very abrupt. I was well aware of this issue when releasing this game but at that point, I was ready to move on and invest my energy into something else, a game hopefully with a bigger scope and something I am more passionate about.

There were some smaller design choices that, in hindsight, could have been improved on such as the game being extremely LOUD at times, the confusing moment of you crossing the street and the motel not be there but actually the next street over, and finally the mass use of other peoples assets.

The future?

With all this I am just happy and proud of how this project has turned out,  and I am excited to take this experience and start on something that is a little more meaningful. I don't plan to continue the project , But I will continue to support and address any problems that arise.
