The Nightmare File is a short first-person horror narrative experience using VHS/PSX style elements.
The Nightmare File:
The Nightmare File is a short playable experience following Officer Rosso, a cop just responding to a noise disturbance far outside the city
Play as Officer Rosso and watch the last recording of before the time of his death.
Controls:
[x] WASD - Movement
[x] E - Interact
[x] LMB - Flashlight On/Off
[x] ESC - Quit

5 - 15 minutes

Welcome to my first ever released game!
This project is very small and serves more as a design prototype than a fully polished game.
I've used a bunch of assets from other creators, and I've done my best to include credits for everyone. If I missed anyone let me know and I will update the credits scene.

Hi, so when I rang the bell and no one showed up so I did look around to find someone at the motel but I didn't see anyone so I went back to the motel office and tried ringing the bell again but still no one showed up well I also tried to leave the area but noting works then I tried also look the key open the door next to the bell I think I'm lost cause there no object (hint) like what to do next
Thank you for showing me this, the regular sequence of events normally goes like 1. Ring the bell, 2. Leave the office because nothing happens, 3. When you leave you hear knocking on the back door in the office and then you are able to open it.
Side note after you ring the bell the door next to the bell is able to be opened without going outside.
Thank you for voicing your concern I will work on a new patch that provides better hints for pathing and such.
